Featured Course -Food and Beverage Management

Core Description of the Featured Catering Management Course The instruction focuses on catering and hotel management, human resource management, work attitude and ethics, and other hospitality-related management knowledge. It is supplemented by practical catering service, banquet and conference management, and hospitality English courses to enhance students’ competitiveness in the job market. The course also incorporates current development trends such as beverage mixing, principles and practices of baking, Western cooking, Chinese and Western pastry making, menu planning and design, hospitality procurement and acceptance, hospitality hygiene and safety, quality management in the service industry, and marketing for hospitality services. This aims to increase students’ future competitiveness in the workplace. To help students understand the interconnections between courses.

Featured Course -Water Activities Course
This course guides students to center on recreational resources as the core concept, establishing foundational skills in planning and executing recreational activities, supplemented by training in interpretive skills to enhance competitiveness in the job market. It includes planning for marine tourism, practical water activities, management and practice in the hot spring industry, practical ecotourism, cruise tourism, leisure fishing industry management, river recreation exploration, outdoor recreation management, practical leisure sports, recreational activity experience management and promotion, leisure and environmental protection, leisure activity planning, and a variety of water activities such as canoeing, interdisciplinary swimming, surfing, diving, sailing, and jet skiing. This allows students the opportunity to engage with different types of water activities as part of the course’s unique features.
